GEMS (God's Eternity-Minded Servants) is a group of New Life Christians of similar age (50+) and similar life experiences. We are servants with not as such "endurance" as earlier in life, but still seeking to serve the Lord, a little at a time, by collectively using the life experiences, skills and talents with which we have been blessed. We enlist the help of more youthful servants when the task is greater than our ability. GEMS Biblical foundation can be found in its signature Scripture, 1 Peter 4:7-10. GEMS is ready to help its members, pastors, elderly, shut-ins, and our community. A GEMS meeting consists of a time of sharing "GEMS moments," devotions, prayers, good food and fellowship. Project requests are discussed and work teams set. |
